It’s hard to believe the WWE star transitioned from wrestling to Hollywood two decades ago. Johnson — belovedly known as The Rock — is the highest-paid actor in showbiz, with a massive social media presence. He produces his projects through his and business partner Dany Garcia’s Seven Bucks Productions, including Disney’s “Jungle Cruise,” the animated “DC League of Super-Pets,” Netflix’s “Red Notice” and NBC’s “Young Rock.” His cup overflowed this year, coming off 2022 starring in DC’s “Black Adam.” He joined the tenth “Fast & Furious” film, “Fast X” — set to be the first of the franchise’s two-part ending — in a surprise cameo, and he’ll reprise his role as Luke Hobbs for part two, set to screen in 2025. Johnson has confirmed his involvement in a live-action rendition of Disney’s “Moana,” where he’ll bring his animated demigod Maui to life. He’ll also rejoin Disney’s “Jungle Cruise 2” alongside Emily Blunt, which is in pre-production.
